Welcome and Thank you for stopping by my page.
I’m Stefanie, a UX Designer and Web Developer with a background in finance helping small business owners succeed by putting their needs first.
I’ve worked with affluent clients and small business owners for over 11+ years, helping them find the best solutions for their needs.
I recently completed my UX Design Bootcamp with Thinkful (Cheggs), where I was recognized as being one of the top designers in my cohort and having a great eye for design.
On my spare time I love to do anything that involves designing and acrylic painting. I’m obsessed with esthetically good looking websites like Westelm.com and CondenastTraveler.com
A little bit more about me…
I’ve work for top financials firms such as JPMorgan Chase and Merrill Lynch who have taught me invaluable skills and have allowed me to grow into the person I am today. I thrived in a realm where every decimal point or comma held a story. The decision to pivot from the world of finance to the realm of User Experience design was influenced by a confluence of factors that shaped my career trajectory.
I transitioned from suits and blazers to design sprints and sticky notes, and it was like discovering a new color palette for life. My days are now filled with ideation sessions, empathy maps, and the occasional debate about the perfect shade of blue. Who knew that crafting seamless digital experiences could be as thrilling as providing financial advice.
As I honed my design skills, I realized that my banking background wasn’t a detour but a bridge. The attention to detail instilled in me by financial tasks found a new home in pixel-perfect interfaces. The empathy developed for understanding clients seamlessly translated into understanding users and their unique needs.
And so, the story goes on - a whimsical journey from banking branches to design studios, peppered with lessons, laughter, and a splash of creativity. Today, I proudly wear the hat of a UX Designer, where every click is an invitation to adventure and every user journey, a narrative waiting to unfold.
So, here’s to embracing change, following what you love, and turning a career transition into a story worth telling- a story where numbers and pixels meet!
